Oscar de la Renta |The Retrospective | de Young | My Experience - I WANT THAT WHOLE LOOK

Oscar de la Renta |The Retrospective | de Young | My Experience

This was my first fashion exhibition that I have been to. Thanks to a dear friend and fashion mentor who invited me to join her to this one of a kind event. It was such an amazing experience to see the phenomenal work of Oscar de la Renta in person at De Young museum in San Francisco, California. As a fashion designer myself, I felt so connected and inspired by his work. I encourage every aspiring fashion designer to attend at least one fashion related exhibition every year if they can. It is the best way to get inspired, learn, and better your craft.

Aspire to be Inspired!

  3. What an interesting retrospective of such an iconic designer. I'd really love to know what the decision making process was to cull down his lengthy career into those few representative pieces.
